Welcome! This disk has three sets of materials for
urban poor churchplanters and trainers. You can click on each major section above to
find PowerPoint presentations, readings and notes.
Urban Poor Churchplanters Course Material:
This includes 40 hours of lecture notes, power points and another 40 hours of readings
which are also
listed at the end, generally two readings per topic. For an easy start, The TOPICS page in the introduction section shows you all the
topics in one chart with hyperlinks to whichever one you want to go to.
Then the Power Points in the church growth section on a Slumdwellers
Discipling Movement, the Work Flows in a Churchplant and Four Seasons of Growth in the discipleship section will introduce you to
some critical ideas for action. This is designed either for a learning network
of urban poor churchplanters in a city or for an MA course. It is made up
of 12 modules.
Grassroots Trainers Module: This folder has 16 hours
of power points of the module for trainers to train
church-planters in the slums.
Course Design Manual: This manual is for
course developers but is included here, so you can see the way other courses are
being developed.
In Process: Though this churchplanting training has been taught to
hundreds, this web presentation is still in development. Many topics have
additional material not yet added.
You are invited to join the task: Videoed stories are being added to each section from Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Your input with your written or videoed stories would be a great asset for
others around the globe.
